🌳 A Confession During Recovery – “Returning Home and Remembering the Silent Tree”

I’ve returned home.
It fills me with joy to know that this is my home again.
My parents are here,
and I finally reunited with my sons whom I hadn’t seen for a long time.
It’s truly wonderful.

Being away from them for so long was painful.
Maybe that’s why these moments now feel even more precious.
We talk together,
share fruits,
and spend many moments laughing.

My father-in-law also watches me with curiosity,
and honestly, I too often wonder about my current condition.
But still…
It feels good.
Really good.

While we were chatting pleasantly,
a memory suddenly surfaced in my mind.

There was a “big tree.”
An enormous tree.
In a vast, open space,
there was only that one tree.
Nothing else.
And I was there alone.

It was an incredibly silent, peaceful place.
Even now, I can recall it vividly.

At the time, I thought to myself:
“Is this death?”
“Am I still alive, or did I pass away?”
It was so quiet that I started to wonder.
I couldn’t hear a single sound.

When I told my father-in-law about this,
he said, “That’s amazing,” and was curious too.
To be honest,
I still don’t fully understand what that scene meant.

But now,
as I sit here alive, speaking and thinking like this,
I realize I must not have died.
I am alive.

And one day,
I would like to recall that big tree and the quiet place once again.
Maybe it wasn’t death—
maybe it was a moment of rest for the soul.

That silence, that peaceful feeling—
I truly liked it.
