The cold weather is slowly easing, becoming warmer. As the frozen world thaws, I earnestly pray that my heart, my eyes, and my mind will also gradually improve. Just as the seasons change, I hope a warm spring day comes to my life as well.
I’ve started studying, and now my dad comes to help me. From now on, my mother-in-law will help me on Mondays, and my dad will assist with my recovery from Tuesday to Friday. Since I can’t do anything on my own, I feel both apologetic and grateful for receiving such help from my family. I want to study by myself, but I still feel like a small child. Besides remembering to take my medicine and eating a little food, there’s nothing else I can do. Only now do I finally understand why the hospital wanted me to stay longer. I regret being so impatient then; it would have been better to stay a bit longer at the hospital for treatment.
Currently, I go to the hospital three times a week. The hospital bills are substantial. Thankfully, my family is helping me, so there aren’t any major crises, but I feel deeply sorry for their sacrifices. Thank you. Today, too, I’ve studied hard and am now heading to the hospital. I’m on my way to review what I’ve studied at home. However, it takes an hour just to get from home to the hospital. While it’s natural for me to be uncomfortable, I feel so bad for my dad who drives me and waits for me every time. One hour waiting at the hospital, one hour to get to the hospital, another hour waiting for my appointment… I have to spend a total of three hours commuting and waiting. Oh… it’s so upsetting. Oh… I keep sighing, wondering why my life has become so inconvenient.
As these inconvenient times continue, past days suddenly come to mind. I lived happily until now, and I can’t understand why this happened to me. The questions of why I was injured, and why it had to be me, never disappear. I worked hard and was recognized in a good position, but thinking that everything changed in an instant makes me feel even more frustrated and sad.
