Without a warm heart, I probably would have ended my own life. When I was first injured, I thought it would heal naturally over time, like any leg injury. But my head was different. It was truly strange. When things didn’t work out no matter how hard I tried, all my thoughts would vanish. People would tell me things like, “Think of your mom,” “Think of your wife,” “Think of your son.” But at that time, my heart couldn’t feel anything. I only thought of ‘myself’. I only thought that ‘I’ was going to die. Other people’s words didn’t register, nor did they resonate with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It felt as if my life had disappeared. Everything I had prepared for felt futile, and I couldn’t recall anything. Even when those around me said kind words and told me to think of my mom, my sons, and my wife, I couldn’t accept anything. I felt so sorry for my life. “Why did this happen to me?” “Why was I injured?” “Why are others fine, but I ended up like this?” “Is this a genetic problem?” “Did I commit a sin?” “Did I do something wrong to people in the past?” These enormous questions weighed down my heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Living in such darkness, my thoughts gradually began to return. Little by little, I started thinking of my mom, my dad, my sons, and my wife. Each precious being came to mind. For approximately a year, I fought this inner battle. I tried to think positive thoughts, but the desire to die constantly plagued me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, as I gradually continued living, meeting good people in my life and feeling the affection of those who cared for me, I began to change. I started hearing an inner voice saying, “You’ll get better diligently,” “Let’s study more,” “Let’s prepare more.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The most important thing in my life is my family. I really want to emphasize this point. I still can’t work like I used to. But now, I won’t die. I want to repay the many people who cherish me, and I also want to help others who are going through difficult times like I did. I’m still not sure how I can help. I am still an injured person, and not completely well enough to help others, but I want to be of some assistance. I want to convey hope to others based on the incredibly difficult experiences I’ve gone through in my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
